Back to the Water and Willow Gala

Porthleven Water Gala 2000 saw the launch of 100 floating Feathersticks with return labels, made at drop-in workshops in the village.
Weighted by a stone in a basketry cage, buoyed by corks the were taken out of the harbour and floated out to sea.

Although most were returned fom local Cornish beaches, two did eventually arrive in Brittany.
